Michael Snoyman is the Vice President of Engineering for FP Complete. Throughout his career, Michael has managed and worked on a wide range of software projects, including distributed systems, medical devices, web applications, and actuarial analysis tooling. He is a prolific author of open-source projects and founded many of the foundational libraries and tools powering Haskell software. Michael is passionate about education and regularly gives training courses on applied Haskell. He is the author of books teaching both the Rust and Haskell programming languages. He is a regular speaker and author around topics including functional programming, static code analysis, DevOps practices, and the boundary between engineering and business management. Michael is a graduate of UCLA with a degree in Actuarial Sciences. He raises his six kids with his wife, Miriam.
FP Complete Chairman and Founder Aaron Contorer has been CTO, CEO, or Chairman of 5 tech start-ups and a Fortune 500 executive. He is a recognized strategy expert and speaker on DevOps, security, software engineering, and technology team building. He has helped build and secure services ranging from major consumer portals to stock market analytics and medical systems to the Oscars and the Emmys. Aaron served as a technology adviser to CEO Bill Gates at Microsoft and was general manager of Microsoft’s productivity tools team and the software engineering tool Visual C++. He was an R&D manager and architect on the creation of MSN and parts of Windows, Exchange, and Active Directory. Previously, he co-created the “shareware” business model at Contorer Computing. He was one of the original Internet software engineers at the National Center for Supercomputing Applications, contributing code to what became Microsoft Internet Explorer 1.0. An early student of artificial intelligence, Aaron holds degrees in computer science and cognitive psychology and is an inventor with 18 patents focusing on security and data. Aaron also serves as Managing Partner at start-up investment and company-building firm Greatscale Ventures, which he co-founded with Tyson McDowell. He has been extensively interviewed in the Wall Street Journal, Venture Capital Journal, Business Insider, Seattle Times, San Diego Union-Tribune, and other publications.
Wes joined FP Complete as CEO in 2019. Wes has almost 40 years of experience in software, service, and consulting. Wes previously served as COO (Chief Operating Officer) of TCG Consulting, a strategic advisory and management services firm focused on driving transformation, integration, and optimization of global travel spend management. Wes also held leadership roles at CGI and Capgemini. Wes was formerly the founder and President of two system integration companies (Infinium LLC and Artisyn LLC). An early adopter and pioneer in distributed computing, Wes served as a technology advisor to Novell and 3Com on LAN/WAN technology. Wes comes to FP Complete with the mission of scaling the company and solidifying them as an industry leader and innovator in the DevSecOps and Cloud enablement. He is influencing the company’s move into advanced solutions and technologies in DevOps, Platform Engineering, Blockchain/Smart Contracts, and Functional Programming. Wes received a Bachelor of Science Degree from Texas A&M University in Electrical Engineering Technology. He is also an active advisor to several start-up companies in the technology and healthcare services. He has been married to his wife Ashley for over 25 years and is proud parent of three adult children.
Bilal is a tenured Project Management professional with 20 years of experience in technology, predominantly in FinTech. Bilal has successfully introduced new services and solutions, retained clients, and ensured his teams utilize the most advanced project and portfolio management techniques. Before joining FP Complete, Bilal worked with Ingenico Group, the world’s largest Point of Sale (POS) manufacturer, for over 12 years. Bilal has worked with several teams across the globe during his career, including Canada, France, Italy, Belgium, Turkey, Australia, Pakistan, and the United States. His career with Ingenico Group involved wearing several different hats, including project management, account management, and business development. Bilal holds several professional certifications, including Project Management Professional (PMP), Professional Scrum Master (PSM), Professional Scrum Product Owner (PSPO), Six Sigma Black Belt (SSBB), and Six Sigma Lean Professional (SSLP). Bilal uses his knowledge and experience to successfully introduce and implement modern Project Management and Lean methodologies within service operations teams to create efficiencies in organizational processes and procedures. Noelle has worked for FP Complete for over ten years and has worn numerous hats during her tenure here. Before joining FP Complete, Noelle worked for the CEO and Founder of a leading biotech company and as a paralegal at several AmLaw100 firms in mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance, real estate, banking, and public finance law. Leveraging her strong legal and administrative background, Noelle oversees our Corporate Services and Marketing departments and frequently contributes to many of our blog articles. Noelle is a California State University, Long Beach graduate with bachelor’s degrees in political science and English. Noelle also attended Creighton University School of Law, where she met her husband, David. In her spare time, Noelle enjoys reading, riding bikes, volunteering with her two daughters, and spending quality time with her family in Cardiff, a coastal suburb of San Diego.
As the VP of Business Development and Alliances at FP Complete, Jason White is responsible for establishing and cultivating strategic partnerships. Joining in 2021 with a single alliance partner, Jason has achieved remarkable growth, expanding FPCO’s reach and revenue by fostering professional relationships with over two dozen national and international alliance partners. His expertise has also established critical connections with renowned OEMs, including AWS, Microsoft Azure, Palo Alto Networks, Dynatrace, and Wiz. Jason has fostered a “win-win” environment for our alliance partners through his efforts, catapulting FP Complete into the go-to resource for advanced DevOps, Platform, and Software engineering needs.
Piotr Polanowsky is responsible for our Product go-to-market strategy. Piotr owns the product lifecycle and helps us improve Kube360, Zehut, and our Engineering offerings. Piotr has over twenty-five years of computer industry experience as a Product Manager and an Engineer. Before joining FP Complete, he managed several worldwide product lines for a Fortune 100 company responsible for $250M in annual revenues. The products included data security, open systems, and mainframe data storage. In addition, he managed an engineering consulting team in Boulder and was responsible for software development before that. Piotr holds an MBA and Computer Science degree from the University of Colorado, Boulder. He has been married for over twenty years and has two amazing sons. In his spare time, he enjoys climbing big peaks in Colorado, traveling, and Latin dancing.
